Sprint PCS Compliment - Good Deal for the Money
I know Sprint has the reputation of having poor customer service, and honestly, it used to. I have been a Sprint customer for years and dreaded any time I had to call in with a complaint or question. It took hours and I could never get a hold of someone who knew what they were talking about. More recently, I have been having amazing experiences with their customer service department. For example, I had a phone that was 1 month away from getting upgraded. The older it got, the less the battery was able to hold a charge. One day it got to the point where I couldn't even turn the phone on. I immediately took it to the Sprint store to see what they could do for me. The representative took one quick look at my phone and gave me a brand new battery, free. I spent a total of 5 minutes in the store, didn't pay a dime, and left with a phone that could probably last for another year now. They were friendly, courteous, and helpful. In addition, I have a friend whose phone also broke a month or 2 before she was up for a rebate. Since her phone wasn't quite as easy as to fix, they agreed to just give her the update a few months early. I am sure there are still issues with their customer service, but I have really seen improvement in the last year or so and wanted to give credit where it was due. If Sprint continues to improve their customer service, with the inexpensive plans and the new HTC Evo, they will become a powerhouse. For the first time in years, I would recommend Sprint to a friend.
