Banner Del Webb Hospital Complaint - Banner Del Web Hospital OVERBILLS and Sends you to Collections

Review by Banner Victim on 2010-05-13
PHOENIX, ARIZONA -- I was taken to Banner Del Webb last June with H1N1 Flu, and while I was there the nursing staff confiscated my personal medication stating they had to dispense it to me. After I was released, I found they billed Medicare and me for my meds as if they had dispensed them from their pharmacy. They also overbilled me for every Tom, Dick and Harry Doctor on their staff whom I never saw - but who now claim they are due payment for "services" I never received. When I disputed the charges, they simply sent me to collections and ruined my credit report.

They are habitually erroneous in their billing, and we - the unwitting victims. AVOID BANNER HOSPITALS EVERYWHERE!

You can never take your OWN medicines into the hospital. They must dispense them for you. You should have taken your medication back and sent it home. A lot of doctors are called in for consultations, too. Those are the charges from Tom, Dick, and Harry. I have been in the same situation and calling the doctors I was able to work out a very fair amount to pay them after my insurance paid their share to the doctors in question. "Nice" always rules over "Nasty"
