IDM marketing Complaint - Poor Employee Relations Representing Direct TV

I was recently hired by IDM marketing in Columbia, SC. IDM's sales people market directly to the customer's in both of the Sam's clubs here locally. Coming soon to both of the Best Buy stores also. Our job was to aggressively promote Direct TV to every customer that walked through the door at Sam's club. Our pay was to be a salary supported by a sliding commission. I had worked several days during the week of May 3-7. Our boss and manager, Kendall T. sent me home on Friday, advising me that out of the three people hired, I had not made the cut. I had no problem with this. When I tried to reach him regarding pay for the hours worked, he would not answer my calls or return my calls. I also left emails for the secretary in the corporate office and it was never responded to. I sent an email to Direct TV and this was their response: Since it costs DIRECTV money to support the email response function of our web site, we have to limit it to customer inquiries. Thank you James M from DirectTV for all of your help. I just hope that all of you Sam's club members who are bombarded by these IDM sales people EVERY time you walk into the store remember this article. Buy Dish, stay with Time Warner, but DON'T purchase Direct TV and their 2 year contract.
