Motel 6 - Ridgecrest, CA Complaint - Motel 6 - Ridgecrest, CA

Review by Bea Quiet on 2010-05-15
It took about 20 - 25 minutes to get checked in (not including the time spent waiting for customers ahead of me to be checked in). No explanation was offered as to why it took sooooo long to get checked, but it was clear that the general manager (sheila?) needs to take a course in customer service. If anyone should have been annoyed about it taking so long to get checked it should have been me, but she was the one acting bothered. Of course, there was no apology for what seemed to be an unreasonably process. I asked for a quiet room, she put me in a room right off the street. I asked her about traffic noise and she assured me that it was a "small town" and traffic would not be an issue. Well it is 9:30pm and you can still, clearly, hear traffic noise (including loud pick up trucks blasting down the street). The room itself is OK, but if I were staying in this town another day I would find another motel.
