J.C. Penney Company, Inc. Complaint - VERY Poor Customer Service
I have been a customer of JC Penney and used to shop from them (and never after this) until I encountered one rude incident with their Sales People.
Upon browsing/ shopping for Apparel and Jewelry in JCP (somewhere in the BAy Area, CA) , which I often visit, I overheard this middle-aged Sales Person talk about me to a another sales person in an extremely rude way and somewhat telling her and pointing to me and said "you see that customer? she is always here, spends 1 hour with this Sales Person!! (exaggerated!!!) and bought this thing and now she is here again, returning something.. there she is again, sigh... and gave me that "cynical" look.
I even "politely" told her that I heard her talking really bad about me and decided to return my previous purchase. All of a sudden, some of the sales people in that Dept "stared" at me and started whispering to each other. How rude can that be!!
I have decided NOT to purchase ANYthing anymore from this store... ever!!!
I have NEVER been humiliated, embarrasssed, degraded in ANY store I walked into. I have worked in retail for more than a decade and it's sad that "some" of the JCP Sales people see a customer a "nuisance" because it's additional work and claims that they are busy ???... huh?? busy??
Better shop elsewhere!! where you will not be treated badly!
