Dell Computer Corporation Complaint - Service declined rapidly in last two years
I have been a loyal customer of Dell for over 10 years. Every computer Ive owned has been Dell.
Recently I required a video card to improve my computer. The representative reviewed my computer and told me what product it would require. They sent it promptly, and it was wrong. It did not fit inside my computer. I returned it.
I then spoke with another software representative and explained I needed
the video card to fit my Slimline inspiron 5305. He promised this one
would be correct and fit the slimline tower, IT WAS WRONG TOO. I believe Dell has completely sold their cusomer service and expertise out. The person did not know the correct part and to top it off they wouldn't let me return it because it was after 30 days (I was busy at work, so let the time lapse).
DELL was in error. They should own up to it and take the part back. At this point I will NEVER deal with Dell again and I will most certainly urge friends and co-workers to do the same. They used to be reputable and knowledgeable and trustworthy but are now an incompetent and un trustworthy company.
