Home Depot Complaint - I'm Done With Home Depot
MARYLAND -- From the day the measurement was taken, I questioned the service I would get from the Home Depot. Their website describes in detail, how the installation process would go, yet the Home Depot failed to deliver on that description. Steps that were supposed to be done according to the website, were not done by the people who work for the Home Depot. My installation coordinator was no help in the process, and seemed disinterested and confrontational from the start. Then the actual installation was bad, because the installers were careless and let a gray liquid leak into my basement, all over my wall, ceiling tile, and carpet. While the installers did work hard in cleaning up the mess they made, there are still visual clues all over the house that this event happened. When I asked Home Depot to compensate me for this process, I was told all they could do was a very cheap giftcard. This installation process cost me almost $2,000, plus the extra time and effort it will take me to get my house fully back in order. I'm done shopping there, and will never step foot into another Home Depot.
