Cannon Motor Company in Cleveland, MS Complaint - Unfair Practices - Automobile Sales/Service

CLEVELAND, MISSISSIPPI -- I purchased a used Ford Explorer from the Cannon Ford, Lincoln, Mercury dealership in Cleveland, Ms. They transferred the vehicle from another dealership. Not one time did they check the vehicle out to see if it was in proper selling condition. They put an inspection sticker on it, I signed the paperwork, and went home. I returned the vehicle to the dealership the following day after purchase, they repaired the vehicle. The day I drove this vehicle home it would not start. I drive the vehicle 4 weeks after this repair, take it back to the dealer and they check the vehicle out. The dealership informs me that the vehicle will need an engine. They also inform me that the vehicle was bought as is, no warranty. Not one time when selling this vehicle did the manager nor salesperson mention to me that this vehicle would not have a warranty, nor was it in any of the paperwork. The dealership manager would not authorize the vehicle to be fixed, I would have to cover all expenses myself.
