Whirlpool front load washing machine - Complaint
We bought a Whirlpool front load washing machine, the first one I ever owned in 2006. From the very fist day of owning it, it had water in it every morning. Because I never owned one before, I had no way of knowing that it should not have water in it. Lately I have been having a code come on my machine so I had the repair man come to check it out. My machine needed a new water pump assembly. While he was here for that problem I told him about the water, and he said "oh it should never have water in it, you need a new inlet valve." He said "it must have been faulty since you bought it 4 years ago." After receiving the bill for both problems, I thought I would see if Whirlpool would stand behind a problem that was there since the beginning, and they said NO!! I was shocked!! I realize it is 4 years old and past warranty's but it never worked correctly from the beginning. I am disappointed and sad at the result of this. We have all Whirlpool appliances and have been very happy with them all. But if someone asks me what kind of washer to buy, I won't tell them to buy a Whirlpool one!!
