Long John Silver's Restaurants Complaint - Ghetto Employee
Complaint
ROUND ROCK, TEXAS -- On April 17, 2010 my parents, children, and I went to have lunch at the LJS in Round Rock Texas.
Right when we walked in, we immediately heard a female employee yelling at the top of her voice the order number that was ready. We looked around to see only 2 tables with customers. The rest of the restaurant was empty. So why did she have to yell so loud?
During our lunch, we noticed this same employee walking out with what looked like friends or family.
10 minutes later, we were walking out of the restaurant to see this same employee sitting in the back seat of a car with the door open parked beside us. She was with a couple of adults and a maybe 2 year old crawling all over the front seat. We were parked right next to this car.
Suddenly, we hear yelling and look over to see this employee puffing on a cigarette and cussing up a storm-loudly on the phone-all right outside of the front entrance to LJS.
How ghetto can you be??

Maybe she had to yell loudly because it wasn't the first time she'd announced the order being ready. It doesn't matter if there's one customer or a dozen, people get wrapped up in themselves and don't pay attention a lot of the time. Or perhaps the customer was hard of hearing. You admit you'd just walked in so you don't know what transpired before you got there.

If you were that offended, then I suggest that you don't patronize that restaurant anymore.

I won't defend the employee's behavior, but if you do not make your objection known to management or through their customer feedback, these kind of customer encounters cannot be corrected. Please let them know.

LOL ghetto employee. Yeah this kind of stuff happens anywhere, sometimes employees don't get that when you're on break but still on the premises you need to be slightly more professional. I don't get why the yelling was bad though, I've been a few places where they yell orders like that even when there's on rush. It's just how the business is.

Maybe she was on her own time when she was outside? Ever think of that?
