Best Buy Complaint - Tomato or Tomato?
CONWAY, ARKANSAS -- I bought an HP Pavillion Desktop 6 mths ago. The audio card recently couldn't be "detected". I called HP, and they wanted to do a system recovery, since the sys. restore didn't fix the issue. Afraid I'd lose data, I took it to Best buy (I'd bought their Black Tie Warranty). I filled out a form telling him it was a sound card problem. It's been a week, and I still don't have my pc back. Here's what happened. The "tech" wrote the VIDEO CARD was not working, and sent it to the Geek Squard Center. They didn't repair it, and it's supposed to be in shipment BACK to Best Buy. HP is calling me, daily, confused as to why if it was the video card, why they didn't replace the motherboard. I told HP I'd paid BB to install an add on video card, so maybe they were connecting to the onboard v/card..and that's why it wasn't working. HP and I are very upset with Best Buy. HP suggested when the pc DOES come back to BB, for me to pick it up, call them, they'll send me postage, and I'll send it to HP! Never again will I buy from Best Buy.
