Chase Manhattan Bank Complaint - Chase Home Finance - Home Modification
COLUMBUS, OHIO -- I've been working with an HUD-Certified Housing Counseling Agency with my mortgage lender to help on a home modification. I was laid off from my job that I worked for 45yrs. in 2001. I signed up until I couldn't sign up no more with no luck in finding a job at my age no where. I ran though my retirement benefits trying to keep my home and now only getting my SS benefits. I fell behind on my house payment in July of 2009 and ask Chase to help me with a modification so, they put me in a trail period plan in Aug, Sept, Oct and was told that they would modified my loan but didn't. They put me in another modification plan for four more months and you guessed it the same thing happen I was turn down after 10 months of getting further behind they said I didn't send all the documents that they asked for but, keep in mind that I have all the records and HUD also has all the documents that they faxed to them. Hud also asked them every time was there anything else that they would need and they replied that they had everything that they needed. Now they want to do another plan for the third time. There needs to be some one that homeowners can go to to get help with this bank in not doing their jobs. I had a stroke 01/31/10 and now paralyzed on the left side and still dealing with my home hardship with this bank. By the way I'm 73 years young.
