Panasonic Complaint - Where's my camera?
MCALLEN, TEXAS -- I bought a Lumix in Singapore with a world wide warranty from PanaSonic when we lost our camera there. It had a lense failure at about 9 months. We began two months ago to try to get it repaired or replaced. I have spent more than 10 hours on the phone and made 25 phone calls. No one disputes that the camera should be repaired or replaced. I have mailed it twice at Panasonic's request. I have mailed and faxed the warranty papers at their request. This has been over the course of two months with all the aggravations of unreturned phone calls and waiting for mail and mailing labels. I have spoken to more than a dozen people, mostly helpful. Now they have lost the camera altogether, even though I have a UPS tracking label that says it was delivered 11 days ago. I will never buy another PanaSonic product as long as I live.
