Direct Buy Complaint - Furniture and more
Save money, yes, but everything else about Direct Buy is awful. If I hadn't already shelled out big bucks for membership, I would never go back to the store.
Bought furniture in early Jan. , one piece was damaged, they sent it back. They wanted to charge me over $100 more for freight (they said we figured out the freight charges wrong). I went to the store and asked to speak to who was in charge. (Warwick, RI store). They said no one was in charge. Picked up some stuff, went back to the office to pay, no one was there. I waited and finally left without paying.
They sent the wrong piece of furniture as a replacement. Took it home and it was also damaged. They sent for a replacement. Finally got the right piece on May 15. 5 months later.
I have other nightmarish stories to tell about the the people who work there but I only have so much time.
