United Parcel Service Complaint - UPS returns as refusal when no attempt was made
DAWSONVILLE, GEORGIA -- UPS is picking up packages and returning them back to the senders as non deliverable when they don't even come to the delivery location to get a refusal of the package. I have read and experienced many of the complaints about UPS in the past so I stopped supporting them personally or in my business. Now they are retaliating by sending back every package without even getting a refusal. I request all package be sent by FedEx or US mail as we do not support the practices of UPS. If a shipper wants to pay for a package, I have no right to refuse the package, so now I say UPS does not deliver to my location, please don't use them. I still have companies and individuals sending and paying for UPS. If I am paying for shipping I have the right to request the carrier. UPS does not know who is paying for the package so when they accept the package for delivery it is their duty to bring it to the receiver for them to accept or refuse. UPS is now making the decision on their own to send back packages (after getting paid) as customer refusal with No attempts made on delivery, and no customer refusal. Is this Legal for UPS to do? They have not been given permission to make any decisions for me or my business. What do I do next?
