Marina dodge Complaint - Is this legal

Review by nurse56 on 2010-05-28
WEBSTER, NEW YORK -- I went to marina Dodge in March due to a vehicle for sale with no money down. Not true! Then in order to get one vehicle I was told I needed to get rid of or trade a vehicle I really liked and was comfortable with the payments. Now 3 months later the "deal" still isn't solidified and I now have a car payment that is almost $200 more than the last and I have yet the first vehicle which was all I really wanted, and not this car or payment and the truck payment is now over $400. I wasn't supposed to have two loans out but it was fanagled that now I have two loans totally over $800. Now I am unemployed and have to return this vehicle or so I was told, had the deal been sealed on Mar 19th as it was suppossed to have been, and I received letters of deniel from every bank I was sent to. Was made to wait for hours each and every time I went to "meet" with sales or finance. I will never return to this sealership....and ask that would be buyers please check or read everthing presented tp them. The truck payment is now 18 percent and still this isn't settled. Wish I knew where to go from here.....

You may want to ring up the NY State Dept of Consumer Affairs: 1-800-697-1220. Something just sounds very wrong. Hope it gets straightened out for you!

If you really liked your other vehicle why did you get a new car?

So you have two vehicles and have to bring the one you don't want back? But they let you take it and you are paying on a loan that hasn't been financed? I'm confused. It sounds very odd.
