Sears Complaint - Don't trust Sears' scheduling.
WASHINGTON, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA -- I scheduled a repair appointment for my dryer on Wednesday for the Saturday before Memorial Day and delayed my travel as I needed the dryer fixed. Scheduling was remarkably easy, though the service department could not confirm that the repair person would have the correct circuit board (which I suspect is the problem) in spite of me giving the model number. However, I expected two visits from any service company. Now at 6 PM on Friday they call to cancel and tell me no technicians are available on Saturday and no appointments are available for 12 days. Needless to say I'm pissed. I could have gotten someone else if they had told me, but on 6Pm on a Friday before a holiday there is no way I can get this fixed. I understand that conflicts happen, but It seemed too matter of fact for them and there was no attempt to accommodate my schedule. I will never use or recommend them after this experience.
