Alamo Complaint - Damage???? - car rental, Jeep
FLORIDA -- I just received a letter stating that my rental (Jeep) was returned damaged, and I should notify my credit card and insurance.
The damage they are claiming was on the frame on top, and of the zipper broke. We took down 2 back panels (soft top). The rest was too much of a hassle to bother with.
So what do we do now? It's our word against theirs. They said they would send pics..as if we could possibly contest them from 1000 miles away. I am hoping that they think we will just pay to get it over with.
We did not hurt that car. And why do they have the man walk around with the clip board at the drop off?
Any suggestions are welcome.
