Wal-Mart Complaint - Wal-Mart's Exchange Program Gone Wrong
ARLINGTON, TEXAS -- I used to always shop at Wal-Mart because of there formally great exchange or return policy. However, my last time shopping there was this weekend. My 8 year old had purchased a Bubble Gum bank and dispenser I assume from the Toy Department. She only got to use it once before it broke on her. So, I told her we would go to get it exchanged (thinking that they would as they used to). However, we went to exchange it and they told us that they couldn't do it because my Drivers license had expired. I showed them several other forms of ID including my Veterans ID and they said that none of them were acceptable and that she could not exchange it. I told them it was a five dollar toy and she was not trying to rip them off. They said that there policy was firm. I was shocked to find they have changed there policy of exchange or return.
