Wacovia bank Complaint - The way they maintain your account

Review by veteran on 2010-05-30
Ive served my country in peactime and war, Ive suffered a tramatic brain injury which causes many problems, the banks procedure in handleing the way debt cards and credit are used takes advantage of people, when I swipe my card it does not take the money out of my account but insted goes into a hold so I think I have more money then I actcualy do. Ive defended our nation with my life but this fricken bank rips me off all the time, I'm 100%disabled, but it's like this bank don't give a rats ass about anything except overdraft fees it's a scam, I will close my account in 2 more days goodbye the bank who scres over people.

i applaude your actions to defend our country. but that has no bearings on your ability to mantain a bank account.

you are supposed to deduct it out of your checkbook.

Thank you for your service. Have you thought about having a family member take over your finances for you since you are unable to do so with your injury?

Yoke has a very good suggestion.

A specific power of attorney perhaps.

First, I would like to thank you for serving our country. Second, It isn't the banks job to maintain your account, it is yours. You should deduct the amount out of your register then you will know what you have in there at all times. I would also suggest having someone else handle your account since you are injured.
