United Airlines Complaint - Customer Service
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA -- On a recent flight from Los Angeles to Boston... I stood in line for over 45 minutes awaiting check in. I explained to the customer service rep that I was due to be on my flight shortly, she said well guess what your going to miss it and walked away from the post. When I asked to speak to a supervisor or someone who could help me get on my flight, I was told they would be called to booth #39, after waiting for 10 minutes at booth 39 no supervisor came.... but, there was another girl who came and stopped to help me. Needless to say I did miss my flight and ended up taking another flight that a)wasn't direct and b)arrived two hours later, I missed time from work and other obligations that I had. I feel having arrived at the airport over and hour early there was absolutely no reason for me to have missed my flight. I came home and called customer relations and spoke with Ed. He didn't apologize for the rudeness of the staff nor was he at all sympathetic to my uncomfortable situation that lead to the call. I was told to write to the head of customer service. Unite Airlines has to be the worse airline that I have ever traveled. I am truly disappointed in the customer service.
