Travelocity Compliment - Suprised They Fixed Our Itinerary & CC Foul Up
We got all the way through payment for our reservation and at the last step it kicked us back to start over without a confirmation. My wife suggested I check the balance on my Visa and Lo and behold the charge went through. We called Travelocity and the girl said that it was a "Deposit" and that the funds would credit back to me in 48 hours. I called VISA and they told me to have them call their Merchant Services to remove the authorization. When I called Travelocity back they guy went round and round but never budged off of 48 hours? I asked for his supervisor then and after explaining that I did not want the money back just a confirmation, he had me on hold for over 30 minutes but when he came back he was on fire. He had me check my VISA account and the money was back! Then he proceeded to book the reservation and gave me the confirmation number I sought from the beginning, even sending me a confirmation email.
That supervisor stepped up to the plate and he should be an example of how customer service should work!
