Coventry Healthcare Complaint - Employment Opportunities (Lied To)

Review by VictorMoney on 2010-06-03
WEST SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA -- Although my complaint is not regarding health services with Coventry, I thought I would let you know how unreputable they are within their own organization.

I interviewed 4 times and was told they really, really liked me and I was going to be called back the following week for a final interview. That interview never came. I kept calling back ever couple weeks and I was told the same thing, "Oh, we just finished all the interviews and will be calling you next week. You are one of our selected candidates. This was told to me for 2 months, by then I finially figured out that they probably either hired someone within or another applicant and was simply waiting for their 3 month probationary period to be over.

Well, BINGO...I figured that right. After 3 months to the day of my interview they sent a generic email and said the position was filled.

I honestly DO NOT understand why they couldn't have been truthful and said that. This was the second time Coventry did this.

With the complaints I see here, this only decreases any positive thoughts I had on Coventry Healthcare. They are DISLOYAL INSIDE AND OUT!!!!

I'm sorry you didn't get the job. It's rough going out there. I'm sure it's a blow after going through that many interviews only to get the generic FU (follow up) letter. I hope you find something soon.

Competition for jobs is fierce and you shouldn't take it personally. Remember, there is always someone more qualified than you are!

If this is the way they "follow up" with interview candidates, imagine how they likely treat their employees. Chalk this up as a blessing in disguise and hopefully you'll find employment with a reputable company soon. Good luck!
