Target Complaint - Target Employees Need Training in Manners
COLMA, CALIFORNIA -- Do companies no longer train employees in manners and etiquette?! I was shopping at the Target in Colma, California the other day. I had finished browsing an aisle and headed toward my shopping cart parked at the end of the aisle, and just as I stretched my arms to reach for the cart handle, a Target associate who was helping another customer cut in front of me such that I had to step backward to avoid her bumping into me. She didn't even apologize or excuse herself. Even the customer she was helping was incredulous at the associate's poor manners, and took it upon herself to apologize on behalf of the associate. Then a while later, I was checking out an item on one of the shelves, and this time a young manager cut in front of me, also not excusing himself. Other big box stores, such as Home Depot and Lowe's have done a fairly good job recently in training their associates in correct manners, so maybe Target should learn from them and train their staff, too.
