Spiegel Mail Order Complaint - Very slow Refunds/credits
Return was received by Spiegel per UPS Tracking # on 5/4/10. As of 6/5/10 credit has not been issued. Sent numerous emails and made calls and they say it takes four weeks. After four weeks, they're saying SIX weeks to receive a refund/credit. This is ridiculous! It is obvious they're using my money but not paying interest. What can be done? I will NEVER purchase anything from Spiegel again and want consumers to be AWARE that they will not receive prompt credits/refunds if they have to return an item. Their shipping fees were outrageous and they also tacked on a $1.95 handling fee. Horrible!
