Lowe's Complaint - They DO NOT back up their Extended Protection Plan
METAIRIE, LOUISIANA -- I bought a Maytag Refrigerator in 2007 and about 1 1/2 years later had to have the ice maker replaced. Now in 2010 the refrigerator and freezer went out. I called the Extended Protection Plan on Tuesday to notify them and they told me that someone would be out on Thursday, well Thursday came and gone and when I called again someone told me that the call to come out was cancelled. Someone called me on Saturday and said they would be out on Monday, well Monday came and gone. Then my husband called Monday night and they said someone would be here on Tuesday between 12&5 well I waited till 5:30 and still no one. Someone from (A&E Factory Services) called me Tuesday morning and said they would be out on Wednesday. Then I talked to someone from (Triple A Appliance Doctor) and he said he will be here on Wednesday after lunch so we will see cause it is still Tuesday. Let's see if either one of them show up. As of now I am out of a refrigerator & freezer for a week.
