Factory Outlet Store Complaint - Bad Company - Tom Tom GPS

I bought a wall adaptor for my GPS. Bad move. I paid $35 including shipping. It does not work at all. It does not fit and it does not charge. They wanted to charge me 15% plus lose my shipping costs and then have to pay additional shipping costs to return. I just threw it out. BUYER BEWARE

Did you pay with a credit card? You might try doing a charge back with your credit card issuer - simply tell them the item was defective and you tried to return it.

I learned that the TomTom's take a "special" wall charger because of the way the GPS is made. It cannot use the so-called "generic". So instead of buying the adapter at a greater cost, I just use the car charger since I only use the TomTom when in the car. Problem solved.
