AARP - Secure Horizons Complaint - Medicare Complete from Secure Horizons
This past January 2010, I signed up with AARP / Medicare Complete from Secure Horizons. I also sign my wife up for the same insurance in February. I have never been more disappointed in an insurance company. Every insureance company I have had over the past 10 years has had a website to track medical expenditures, claims, doctors, dentist, and specialist. Not Secure Horizons in Utah. There are several states that do have the benefit of a website that offers these services, but not in Utah. I also had problems with finding a dentist as my current dentist does not accept MedicareComplete from Secure Horizons. Come to find out that some expenses are not covered up front but I need to submit a claim myself for a reimbursement. This is a pain in the butt as there is no means for tracking this on a website and it has to be done manually. I initially had several calls to customer service to get answers to my question and was told incorrect information. I requested a new dentist listing and was promised it would be in the mail within two days. Never got it. The co-pays are the highest of anyone I know with Medicare Supplement Insurance. I have been unable to find out when a website with claim tracking, expense tracking, etc will become available within Utah. Just that it's coming soon and that input is from January calls.
I wouldn't recommend AARP / MedicareComplete from SEcure Horizons to anyone.
