Geek Squad Compliment - Best Computer Tech We've Ever Had
My computer had been having multiple problems for months and they were getting worse and worse. Just a few of the many problems were: it was extremely slow; it would stall constantly in the middle of a document and during a web search and while trying to read an E-mail; it was very difficult to save a document because it stalled in the middle of the save; couldn't get any video online. I called the tech we were using who ran diagnostics, removed some programs and found and removed a few viruses despite the fact that I was running scheduled software that was supposed to prevent them. He also left me with a big bill. After he left, I discovered that my printer didn't work (spooling error) and all of my problems returned, but I couldn't get him to return. So, I called Geek Squad because we'd always had great service from them in the Best Buy store. The Geek Squad tech was terrific -- the best we've ever had either at home or at work. He was extremely knowledgeable and ran some very impressive diagnostic software. Found more viruses the old tech didn't find, removed a lot more programs that I didn't need and explained how to prevent problems in the future. He removed the anti-virus program that was running and replaced it with the latest and greatest one. He fixed the printer problem and explained why the old tech had inadvertently removed it. The Geek Squad bill was very reasonable and far less than I expected.
Our old tech is history and we'll only use Geek Squad from now on. Very impressive. We're located in Bucks County, PA.
