KINGMAN, ARIZONA -- Put money on a friend's account to get phone calls from him, ICSolutions lost the money, said it was my fault, I requested a refund, they charged me for that and I still haven't reserved my refund, after calling several times they just hang up on me now, they're no better than the inmates in for theft, I would never use them again, but they have you over a barrel, you have to go through them to talk with your friend or family, this has to be stopped, they're just as corrupt as most inmates, they need to be locked up.

HANFORD, CALIFORNIA -- I was mislead to believe the only way to register for an onsite visit was to register through them. I got nowhere with their website. Upon speaking with a live body realized I was not talking with a real employee, instead it was an independent contractor. The whole overall experience leaves you with a bad taste in your mouth [for lack of a better term]. But maybe I can do better.

Here's what I know; people have broken a law and have been caught. They have been held to answer for that, resulting in incarceration. To pay their debt to society they must endure a punishment. It is not as inhumane as it once was, so visiting with non-criminal family is allowed.

20 years ago, what was deemed okay by society was to schedule a visit for a brief period on select days with their loved ones [through a glass while being monitored] this was helpful and humane. That gradually changed for the next ten years. Currently is has rapidly changed and society has no idea of the abomination it has become, and frankly probably don't care. I believe the real eye opening fact is, these apparent criminals are there because of doing things shiesty, being thugs, for ripping off or being scandalous, unscrupulous business dealings etc.

Now this supposed law abiding company acts exactly like a gang or mob or racketeer leaving you feeling like you've just been served by a criminal element. What really boggles the mind is that a law enforcement establishment, such as a jail or prison finds this acceptable, and even society as a whole. What the H E double hockey sticks is wrong with this picture.

To top all of that off, America prides itself on being a capitalist society and no one wants to take these guys down and create an opportunity to establish their version of a private public service provider? Are there no law firms eyeballing this as an opportunity to make millions in lawsuits and attorney's fees. Does no one else get the uneasy feeling that this a akin to what Vladimir Putin has been doing all along? IDK SMH and feeling like a real crime on a grand scale is happening right now. Under the guise of law and order and a just and verdant world.

Lastly, today's world feels like a new era of McCarthyism [anybody caught questioning the way things are is a liberal, and nobody wants to be called a liberal so everybody keeps their mouth shut] kind of like the definition of oppression

Poor Customer Service, Cannot Get Resolution

DANVILLE, VIRGINIA -- Terrible company to deal with!! My transactions kept failing online. I called the customer service number and after a 2hr call, got NOWHERE. I was told to call back the next day to speak to someone in corporate. Next day I spent another 1.5 in total after going back over my same story multiple times and being transferred to a "corporate person" only for a prerecorded male to say that he couldn't hear me and then hang up.

None of the supervisors could tell me what had happened and it is showing all of my "failed" transactions as pending. I told them NONE of those failed better come out of my bank account. They do not try to help. Last time I waited I told them not to transfer me to the prerecorded crap. I was supposed to receive a call from corporate and I have not. It has been 4 days now. I'm going to contact BBB. I'm not sure if the jail has another provider for phone calls but IC Solutions is horrible!!

SAN ANTOMIO, TEXAS -- I called 4 times trying to set up a payment plan, unbelievably 3 times they told me, "Sorry I can't hear you." And hung up on me. I got thru the first time and person was helpful at which time, I needed to get my payment info together and told him I'd call back. I only wanted to speak with my loved one. But reading the Google reviews it may be a waste of time and money. Because I want to be connected, I'll go to the jail and try that way, they'll get one chance from me, If there are more problems I'll be writing another review and it won't be pretty.

An Unprofessional and Unpleasant Experience Dealing With This Company

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS -- I opened an account online on 12/22/18 and payment cleared my bank two days later. When I access my account online, it still reflects a zero balance, and I'm still unable to receive calls. It is now two weeks later. I've contacted them through email three times with absolutely no response. I've called twice, each call giving me completely different information. The first time I was told they would open an investigation and get back to me with 3 days. This never happened. The second call I placed resulted in a supervisor telling me that my payment never processed, so I can't get a refund, nor can they credit my account because the payment never cleared at their end. I was told to go to my bank, get a letter saying that the payment had posted, and fax it to them.

I have NEVER been so frustrated with a transaction. The staff appears to be robots reading a script without any real solutions. Their company name should NOT be IC-SOLUTIONS. I wish there weren't a monopoly on detention center calls. This kind of business practice should not be tolerated. Where's the competition? I would drop this company in the blink of an eye.

Rude Customer Service

TEXAS -- This woman, she said her name is "Ning", was so very rude throughout the entire call, like I was irritating her just for simply requesting to add money to a second phone number. I don't feel like I deserved to be treated like that. I cannot stand that kind of horrible customer service experience. As a person who has worked in the public eye as a medical assistant for years now, I think it should be a top priority to treat people, all people, whether it be a customer or otherwise, with the utmost respect.

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS -- We are forced to use this company for loved ones who are incarcerated. They are quick to take a service fee for funding money and on top of that take the money you placed in the account away from you if it's not used in 6 months. I called the company and they kept transferring me to other depts. With its policy and no refunds ever. Already in a hardship with the circumstances and they take your money when you still use same company to set up their inpersonal visits? Wrong of them on so many levels.

ICSolution Is a Fraud/Take Your Money and Never Let a Call Connect

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS -- I found ICSolutions at the county jail. Employees of the jail didn't want to tell me anything about the inmate calling, the county is not connected to ICSolutions. I picked up a brochure. I called ICS on Thursday 4/26/12, put over $30.00 on my credit card. It cost $5.99 every time you add minutes.

Each call has a service charge plus 10 cents a minute. The first and only call I received deducted over $12.00 for a 15-minute call. I had a credit of approx $17.25. Every time a call came to my telephone, I would get a recording stating who was calling. After that I was immediately transferred to the payment center to add money to my account. At that point the call was discounted. If I didn't answer the call, an automatic recording would leave the above message, add money to my account. The message is impossible to delete from my message machine.

I called ICSolution on Sun. 4/29/12 to complain. The C/S representative told me that she would start an investigation which could take up to 72 hrs to solve. When I asked more questions, she would continue to repeat the message that she had started an investigation. Monday, I called and told them I was contacting the Better Business Bureau in San Antonio, TX. Guess what? Within an hour the ICSolution prepaid calling system was up and working. Within 60 minutes the problem was solved.

I still think it is a scam, and fraud. Do not give ICS a dime, you will not get any service. I am positive that most people using ICS would not persist to get the problem solved. ICS picked the wrong person to cheat. I am going to warn as many people as I can. Buyer be aware. Try to find any contact information on their website: www.ICSolutions.com. It is the most useless site I have ever used. The only thing the site tells you is how to put more money in my account.

These People Have My Money and Have Been Told Calls Have Been Blocked.
By -

This company is a scam and a joke. How this company can still be in business is beyond me! I have a friend in jail here in Virginia. The first two months I got calls fine - all of a sudden I spoke with her on a Thursday before another court date Friday and nothing. Called ICS and was told that they would open up an investigation (this was Sunday). Called Monday and was told that the investigation was opened that morning and it would take 24-72 hours for someone to get back to me all the while they have my money up front!

It is now Thursday, still nothing. Call the company to be told that due to the "large number" of investigations it was going to take up to a week! It is going on a week and nothing. Asked to speak to a supervisor, was told that there is no supervisor, that she worked out of her home! WHAT THE HELL is going on here? I am the only liaison between my friend and her elderly mother, as her mother cannot afford the collect calls...because ICS won't let her prepay for calls because she is over 30 miles away. This is crazy, and I want to know if someone out there is willing to go with me on filing a class action suit against this company! HHEEEELLLPPP!
