Tan DE Soliel Complaint - Horrific stylist who rents space at the salon

Review by Cheygate on 2010-06-10
FT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA -- I went to Tan DE Soliel for a haircut, I was told over the phone it would be $35.00, naturally after I got there I was quouted $45.00 from the supposed hairstyle champion whom rents space at the salon. I have always had thick beautiful hair, and told her I wanted a polished professional look, and to keep the lenghth. Needless to say she asked me to stand up bend over and she sheared my hair like a lamb. She left me looking like David Bowie from the early seventies, The top of my hair was one inch, and the lenght was about ten strands. She caused me humiliation at work, at home, to my friends, family and boyfriend. I asked numerous times for my money back, as I make very little, and it will take at least a year of costly professional assistance to look healthy gain...This does not reflect the salon, only the hairstylist whom rents space. Again I am the least vain person and would give my locks for a good cause, not some fraud!I am still waiting for a refund!

if your hair is only one inch long it'll take more than money to fix it

it'll take time.

how did you ask her to style it?

The good thing about bad haircuts is that they always grow out. Try to make the best of it and don't go back there.
I recommend Red Head Salon in Davie, FL. Go there now and they may be able to make lemons out of the lemonade that is now your hairdo. Or go to an Aveda Salon. You'll get a cut by one of the students and it'll only cost you $12.00.

Are you saying that you willingly stood up and let her shear your head like a lamb? Why? I've had thousands of haircuts in my life and no one has ever asked me to stand up. And if someone came at my head with the clippers, I wouldn't wait until it was too late before stopping them. If you had enough hair to donate that must mean you stood by and watched her cut of an awful lot of hair without saying anything. I'm sorry, I just don't understand what happened here.
