Itouchless - I-Touchless - I Touchless Complaint - Itouchless is Unable to Service Their Products
I purchased an ITouchless Vacuum Sealer to keep fruit fresh. 14 months after I bought it, the unit stopped working properly. I contacted ITouchless by phone and I was told, "I'm sorry, since the unit is out of warranty we are unable to offer you assistance." That was after the operator suggested it might be faulty seal, and after she put me on hold to see if they could sell me a replacement seal.
Not only did they not have a replacement seal, but they could not get one. Then she said I could "Purchase a new one for 10% off!"
I sent an email and customer service gave me the same run-around. If a product is out of the warranty period, they do NOT have an option to get it repaired, they do NOT sell parts, they do nothing but say, "I'm sorry." In fact, below is the final email conversation we had, word for word.

I've been told about your promotions already. You never answered my question. My question was quite simple.
If you are not able to service a unit that stops functioning properly after 14 months, why in the world would you think I would purchase anything else from your company?

Thank you for your reply. We are offering the promotion so that you are aware of this option, since your unit is out of the warranty period and we will not be able to provide repair service to you. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. They offer a 1 year warranty. After that, YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN. NO REPAIRS, NO SERVICE, NOTHING BUT SORRY's.
That is the hallmark of a truly SORRY company. Buy from a company that will service their products after they break. (Please note. I never asked them to repair the product for free. I was more than willing to pay for the repair. But that is NOT an option.)
