T-Mobile Complaint - Inconsistent customer service, high rates
With a base rate of 89.98 on my plan somehow the charges have always rung up at about 123.63.
When I bought the plan, the salesman represented that my best option to secure the best rate on my minutes would be to purchase two lines, even if I never used the second number. So I picked up that plan, never used the second line, even once. Over the next two years, I never thought about it. When I noticed a cheaper cell plan, I jumped on it. Unfortunately, somehow, the contract I signed had two separate dates of termination for the two lines. One phone plan with two termination dates. Nifty. So although the line I used was past contract expiry, the company insists on charging me a termination fee for a number I never used, not even once.
I have paid enough in the way of overage charges. I'm not in the mood.
They will probably sell the artificailly high "debt" to a credit company for 60 cents on the dollar, and that company will hound me endlessly over this petty fee that the company would waive if it had any business sense.
Now instead of pulling in a full amount, they will get half that and a very dissatisfied former customer whom will tell everyone in his 500 or so circle of friends to ditch T-mobile and go to boost which is cheap and no-contract. If I had T-mobile stock I'd sell it immediately, because this single experience is likely replicated many thousands of times as their rapacious policies bleed their customers dry.
Great business model kids.
