LACEY, WASHINGTON -- On approximately 5/5/10, I took my jacket to the Nisqually Cleaners, here in Lacey, Washington, for alternations.
I needed to have the sleeves made shorter. The sleeves are the type that when rolled up are held by loops that are buttoned. (See photos)

I picked the jacket up on 5/10/10. Which was when I noticed, that the right sleeve was not even and looked very bad. The inside lining was cut and sewed on so badly, so the sleeve on the outside, was not smooth at all. Also the latches on both sleeves were sewed on about a quarter of an inch off and crooked.

On 5/28/10, I returned the jacket to the cleaners and showed it to the owner. She said that she could not see anything wrong with the jacket. I put the jacket on and she looked at it, and once again said there is nothing wrong with the sleeve. Then I showed her the inside lining and the way it was made, all cut up and sewed back together and made the right sleeve look wavy. The left sleeve was fine.

She begin talking louder and louder. She then begin to speak in her native language (Korean I believe) to her husband. In a normal voice, I requested that she please speak English. I told her that I bought the jacket recently and never wore it. I also mentioned that the jacket cost me $ 119.00 plus shipping and handling. She started to scream and said “you will not get your money back for the jacket.” Which she repeated. I told her that I did not want the money back that I paid for the purchase of the jacket and that
I only wanted for her to fix it right.

Then she said that it looked like this when I brought it in, but then she told me that nobody would notice it by looking at it.
I showed her the latches on both sleeves and how crooked they were sewed on and totally off center. She said she would fix them again, but with the main problem not fixed first, the latches would be still crocked. I left the cleaners with no result at all. The husband immediately shut the door on me while I stepped outside.

I have the invoice when I bought the jacket.
