Hawks Prairie Automotive Compliment - A Wonderful Crew of Technicians

Review by Starlord on 2010-06-12
LACEY, WASHINGTON -- Yesterday, June 11, we pulled out to take a load of property to our new apartment in Chehalis, WA. The wife said we had a problem, as the Check Engine light had just come on. We took the truck to Hawks Prairie, in Lacey, WA, as they had done a couple of oil changes for us and had always treated us right. The put the diagnostic computer on the truck, and the machine revealed our after-market locking gas cap was faulty. They ordered a Mopar replacement cap, and Mike, the service writer said there was no sense in us sitting there, as we are in the middle of a move, so he told us to go ahead, and come by to pick up the cap and settle the bill when we got back. He had cut the price of the diagnostic in half because we purchased the cap through them, and he didn't really know us from Adam's off ox. While we were there, a lady came in and her car was going to require a stay of a couple of hours, and she was worried about calling off from work. Mike gave her the keys to his personal vehicle and sid her car would be ready when she got off work. We returned that afternoon, and they installed the new cap and reset the engine light and ran another complete scan to make sure all was right. Hawks Prairie Automotive is a great place to do business with, as they really have heart.
