Corn King Bacon TSD Sales Complaint - Fatty Bacon

Review by teton mountains on 2010-06-12
SPRINGDALE,, ALASKA -- I purchased two packages of Corn King Bacon. What a mistake! The bacon was ALL fat. My recipe called for 6 strips of bacon, I had to use the whole package, stripped of fat, just to meet the recipe requirements. How can a company get away with this? It is disgusting. I want to contact the company directly to file a complaint, but can't seem to find an address.

How unfair that they supply us with such a substandard product and we have no way of contacting a customer service agent who can address our concerns. Maybe that is the point, they know their product is beyond substandard, and don't want to listen to our complaints.

I use only Oscar Meyer Center Cut Bacon; it cost about 50% more, but it is significantly lower in fat.

Corn King is not exactly known as a meaty bacon. That's why it's so cheap. Personally, I like it, but when you need a specific amount for cooking, it's not the best.

My preference is Kunzler center cut bacon. Yes, it costs more, but it's worth it (I buy it when it's on sale).
