Re: Corporate complaint regarding Dell Order # 988179861
Dear Mr. Dell,
I believe the attached email messages between myself and Dell’s India location are pretty much self-explanatory. I am hoping and praying that by finally doing this, my wife and I will receive some satisfaction from the Dell Corporation. The past five months of having to deal with Dell’s technical support and “Corporate” Resolutions office has been so incredibly time consuming and frustrating.
Mr. Dell, the computer I purchased as a joint Christmas present for my wife and I last December is defective; no two ways about it. Dell has now had the mother board replaced twice, and there seems to be no end in sight to the problems we continue to have with it. Truth be told, Dell has now spent more for the replacement mother boards, along with the technical service calls to my home, than if they had simply replaced my computer… I think you would have to agree that this does not make very good business sense at all. Can you imagine if this way of doing business is widespread?
My wife and I are again asking that Dell honor the complete 12 month warranty that came with this computer, and to either replace it with a computer of at least the same value, along with all the features we have on this one, or to provide us with a full refund as soon as possible so that we can purchase one elsewhere. And actually, I truly believe that we deserve an upgrade for all we’ve been put through by Dell. In addition, I should not have to bear the expense of packaging/shipping this computer back to Dell, and I would like to have Dell assist me in transferring everything over from this computer to the replacement computer. After all, that took me hours and hours to set it all up when I first received same.
Thank you kindly Mr. Dell, and I look forward to hearing from you or someone from your office at your earliest convenience.
