Knauz Complaint - Comedy Of Errors @ Knauz

Review by RJ Seidel on 2010-06-14
LAKE BLUFF, IL. -- First, there's the question of whether or not, when they told us that the part in question is NOT one of the parts previously repaired, it was in fact true. Regardless, having had the car in for A/C service repairs just 2 days before it had to go back in for a so called 'OTHER" issue regarding the A/C is somewhat disconcerting. But, to have been waiting nearly 3 weeks for the repair to be done is also frustrating. And.... On top of that, to have just received a phone call from the Service Manager, not only informing me of previous repair problems that were never mentioned but have contributed to this delay but, also telling me that while those repairs have finally been completed, they have now accidentally damaged a door..... Well, this has gotten a bit out of hand.

I hope they finally get it right, regarding the air conditioning unit. Make sure on your paperwork, it's documented that they damaged the door. They are responsible for having it repaired. If they say they will verbally, don't just take them at their word, get it all in writing. After you pay them for the A/C repair, they just might "FORGET" they agreed to repair anything, because you brought the car in with the damaged door. This will hold up in small claims court, in the event, you have to them to court for the door repair. You are entitled to have your car returned in the same condition as when you brought it to them.
