Sears Complaint - Dumb Dumb Dumb
On March 6, 2010 Sears replaced our dishwasher because the service techs did not dignose the problem. On 2 occasions the pump/motor had gone out they replaced the wash arms. They also replaced the racks, and other parts. After 5 parts changes they replaced the dishwasher. On March 10 the installers came without the proper tools, without the proper electrical connection insulators, and could not figure out how to install the handle. I called Sears told them I did not feel it was installed correctly. Five phone calls, got laughed at, insulted, they sent a service tech (the one who ordered arms for a pump. The tech said it was OK I told the tech it would not work. On June 1 the dishwasher stopped working. Called set, up an appointment for between 1 and 5 PM. The tech called at 11:41 AM and when no one answered the 1st phone number did not call the 2nd number and cancelled the service call. I found out about 6 PM. I was lied to by a supervisor when he told me that the tech would call after 6 PM. By 8:30 Thursday night Sears had replaced the less than 3 month old dishwasher. Saturday, a delivery truck delivered the wrong dishwasher. Got the correct new dishwasher today, the installer came found the electrical wires had shorted out, the electrical box had not been put in correctly in the installation, and the wires were lying on the floor. In short they would have burned down the house or killed someone if water had leaked. This is a true story, every word of it.
