Kentucky Fried Chicken Complaint - Refusal to refund an overcharge!
I took my son to KFC in Doncaster, UK and was charged 8 times for one meal. When I phoned to complain abut this, I was told I was only charged 6 times and would only get a refund for the 5 over charges. Despite me having to go back to the restaurant and show my bank statement showing 8 transactions and multiple assurances from my bank that I have been debited, the customer 'care' team refuse to accept they are in the wrong and recify this problem. I have to wait a week to see if this money mysteriously reappears in my bank. In the mean time, I am almost £70 down whilst on maternity leave with no pay. I have explained this to KFC and there is just no compassion or goodwill or any useful help coming from them whatsoever. I shall be avoiding this company like the plague from now on.
