Blues Review Magazine Complaint - Takes Your Money-Doesn't Send Magazine Nor A Refund!!!

URBANDALE, IOWA -- On 12/29/09, placed order for Blues Revue Mag-1 YEAR SUBSCRIPTIO9N. My credit card was charged 49.95 on 12/30/09.I called them in Feb.,they stated it would take 6-8 wks. to get first issue-I was told I would have 1st issue by 3/17/10.(12 weeks later) I wrote on 3/30 as we never received the magazine-was told I would get it the following week. I also called twice and was always told - I would get it "next week." On 4/20-I wrote them and asked for an immediate refund of 49.95 as I did not want the subscription. This was 16 weeks later. I have written them on 4/23, 4/27, 4/29 and last correspondence on 5/7/10. Recently have sent 3 more requests for my refund and have been totally ignored. The Better Business Bureau has contacted them twice and they have ignored their request too!I have been completely ignored and they took my $49.95. I have even written the editor.

This company has basically stolen 50 dollars from me and I intend to pursue this to the fullest extent of the law.

Good for you for pursuing this, Rocke! Print publications, of all things, should be wary of messing around like this, lest you just turn to the good ol World Wide Web to get all your blues news.

Have you contacted your credit card company to have the charges reversed? I agree with you - they have stolen your money. I think you should file criminal charges against them; I'd get charged if I took your money from your pocket, wouldn't I? How is this different?
