Gambinos Bakery Louisiana Complaint - Improper care in packaging

LOUISIANA -- We ordered a "King Cake" from this supplier which they shipped FedEx. The item was not properly packaged and such a mess when it arrived it had to be thrown out. When notified of the problem, Gambino's response was that they did not guarantee their product - a fact they failed to inform us of prior to purchase. We enclosed a digital photo illustrating the condition of the cake as received but they refused us a credit or refund unless the item was returned - knowing it was unlikely we had saved what was essentially scrap for return shipment. If planning a Mardi Gras party, choose another bakery.
