Pets 'N People, Inc. Compliment - Nature's Miracle - It Is A Miracle - Removes Skunk Odor

Review by goduke on 2010-06-16
HAUPPAUGE, NEW YORK -- So I went to a concert on Friday, and came home late. Opened the door to let the dogs out, and they pranced by to the backyard as I went it. Heard a couple of barks from the porch, then the ominous "yip." Pup #2 had annoyed a skunk who was apparently dining on the leftovers from the birdfeeder, and got a spray in the face.

Grabbed him quickly, because he had thick fur, and gave him a bath. Still had skunk stink on his face. Tried the home remedy of vinegar/baking soda/dish soap. No joy.

Finally stumbed onto a product called "Nature's Miracle," which is an enzyme compound which neutralizes the stink molecules. Sure enough. It worked like a champ.

Hopefully no one will ever need it, but if you or someone you love has a run in with Pepe Le Peu, give it a try.

Nice review! When I was about 15, I let the dogs in (I lived in very rural area), and I couldn't figure out what that strange smell was.

Yah, I caught heck for that one.

I ended up having to do the tomato juice thing, which was not very effective.

I wish I could spray this stuff into the air! We have a lot of skunks in our area. I've never actually seen one, but oh the smell.

Great review and advice!

Does not work as well as Zero Odor on dog "accidents". Zero Odor takes care of odor and many, many stains. I stopped using Nature's Miracle years ago when I found Zero Odor.
