Meineke car care, 6975 N. Dixie Hwy, Elizabethtown, Ky Complaint - I Just want my money back

Review by lugnut on 2010-06-16
ELIZABETHTOWN, KENTUCKY -- Last year I purchased the " Anniversary Special" from the Elizabethtown Ky Meineke Car care center for $69.95. It is good for one year from the date of the first time you use it. Well I went to use it last week, and the Ky dept of revenue has shut it down for back taxes. The services that I purchased was totaled at over $500.00. I just want what I payed for. If any one may know how to reach the owner of that store other than the store phone & address please let me know. I am not the only person that purchased this special. This person has or had some other kind of a shop in Morristown, Tn also. He may also had a business in Bowling Green, Ky, Dyersburg, Tn. Hattiesburg, MS .
His name is Tim [snip]. I have called the B B.B no one else had said anything to them as of last week about this man. I hope that some one will help me find him.
Thank you

OK, here's the deal. If you want to find the guy, try searching his name on the sex offender registry in Tennessee, might be surprized what pops up. (The registry ought to be current as to name and address, but it doesn't list phone numbers.) Now, once you have done that search, ask yourself, "Do I really want to find this guy?"

On the other hand, you might find sweet revenge if you discover that his address is incorrect and you mention that to the Tennessee State Police.

Regarding Bowling Green, he went to college there at WKU in the 1980's, but no indication that he lived there more than a few years after he graduated. I think he took a transfer with a job to East Tennessee, where he finally got "caught" for what was pretty much the way he was all his life. From there, he more or less had to keep moving around. I guess life sucks when your mug shot is on the state police's website, and it's not long until the local community gets filled in on the details and your business dries up.

He grew up in Meade County, and likely still has family there. I know he had a sister just a year or two younger than he was; I have no idea if his parents are still living.

As for me, I learned of his creepiness long before the incident in Tennessee, so I've deliberately avoided keeping up with him. I think of it like this: When you get in a fight with a skunk, even if you win, you still lose.
