Sprint Informative - Customer Service - Broken Phone
I got my first smart phone in Oct 2009, the worst mistake I made was losing that new phone. I filed a claim with Asurion to replace the phone and received the new one, in 3 months this "refurbished" phone was not working, phone turning on and off every 30 - 60 seconds, when I went to the store they told me it was nothing they can do. When I called their "service" department they did a series of reboots that didn't work. I advised them as long as I had the new phone not one problem. But they wouldn't send me a better phone just another "refurbished" phone that stop working with in 3months, this one stalls, unexpected error messages and on top of that the USB port stop working(known blackberry issue) but they told me it was my fault and had to pay another $100 for what?? I didn't break the phone. My sister called the Sprint store and they promised her I can get an upgrade w/in 3weeks, even though my phone would be dead by then due to the port was out. But they didn't care, by the way they don't have a record of the call, when I have a witness and myself that heard this transaction. So after speaking with close to 5 - 10representative in over the course of 2days, one representative had provided me a credit of $100, so if I decided to file another claim this would be paid. By this time I filed a complaint with the BBB. Well when I spoke with Lori who handled the complaint she reversed my $100 which I still feel like that was promised to me and not up to her to reversed it, what now, I am being sent another Sprint "refurbished" product.
I have work in customer service for over 10 years and always looked for a way to satisfy my customer not take away from them. I learned never put your loyatly in a company that will not remain loyal to you.
I was told they have to set a standard for their customers, sounds more like they wanted to make an example out of me, after spending 15K plus in phones, services and mulitple lines, I am left with another one of their quality "refurbhished products". I also do not have the $100 credit I was promised, not even a compromise like $50, I have wasted time and money I could have been doing other things instead of arguing and fighting and still left with nothing.
