Nutramedics -Palo Alto Labs Complaint - Call for free offer, pay shipping, and they start to auto ship every month.

FLORIDA -- These guys are a complete fraud. Here is how they ripped me off -

I saw a commercial on DirecTv for a free bottle of CylApril from Nutamedics, Adrenal Fatigue Institute, Palo Alto Labs.

I called the number on the commercial and told the operator I was calling about the free offer. He instructed me all I had to pay was 6.99 for S&H.

I said sure and gave them my CC#. Long story short 2 weeks later I received 2 XXX movies in my mail box ? Thought it was a mistake, who pays for porn anymore ? Then 4 weeks after the initial order I received the CylApril I ordered. Took it for a month with no results. Exactly 4 weeks after my order I was shocked to see another shipment from Nutramedics.

I opened the box and there was another 12 bottles of CylApril. I called them and couldn't get customer service to return my call.

At the end of the month I received my CC statement and they charged my CC 189.00 for the 12 bottles I did not order and another $60.00 for shipping and handling. There was also a 50.00 charge for some Club USA and a 70.00 charge for discrete shipping. I assume the DVDs.

I finally got customer service on the phone and they told me I agreed to the Auto Shipping for the CylApril, I signed up for the Clubs, and requested the DVD's. I was livid and told them I want the charges reversed for everything. I informed them I would be more than happy to pay for the initial bottle I ordered. And I will be happy to send everything back to them. They said once the UPS box is opened they can not refund my money. UPS box ? All the items were never opened.

This went on and on so I eventually said I would keep everything if they just cancelled the Auto Shipment. They agreed.

Not even 3 weeks later another 12 bottles came, more DVD;s and another Club membership charge. I immediately called my CC company and reversed the charges.

These people are scumbags. Just wanted to let everyone know.

THank you,

Try going to the website ag.ca.gov, then 'consumer complaints', and see about reporting this incident.

That's how all those "free" offers work, they just don't disclose the information like they should. Remember, Nothing Is Free!

Agee with Weed...almost all the "free" offers have auto shipments with non-existent customer service. That's how the scammers make their money.

Good post.
