PayPal Complaint - Freezes Accounts and Poor Customer Service Skills
I'm a current Pay Pal account holder. I'm not trying to bad mouth Pay Pal. I had owed money on my Pay Pal account. I sell services on line and uses Pay Pal to accept payments. I had a customer pay for my services while I was ill and hospitalized. I was unable to contact anyone from Pay Pal to inform them that I was inside of a hospital for two weeks. Someone had went into my accout and took money from my account. I was unaware of this, due to me being hospitalized. I had came home from the hospital. I had tried to log into my account. There was a message on my account saying that I owed money to Pay Pal. My bank account was over drafted. I was very upset, confused and furious. I had spoke with Pay Pal and informed them that someone went into my account and now my bank account is over drafted. This transaction was unauthorized and I can't log into my Pay Pal account either.
I was told that I had to pay a balance that I didn't know anything about in order to use my account again. Pay Pal had refunded money into my account since I had proved that I didn't authorized that transaction. I was able to use my Pay Pal account and accept payments. Now all of sudden, I am completely locked out of my Pay Pal account. I can't accept payments or conduct any transactions. Their customer service dept. are very unprofessional and rude. I'm very unhappy and dissatisfied with Pay Pal. Again, I'm not trying to bad mouth Pay Pal. I'm just very frustrated that my account is being penalized because someone has taken money or did some type of unauthorized transaction.
