I placed an order on June 11, 2010 for a cello, which arrived June 18, 2010. The instrument was badly damaged, most likely in shipping, and I sent an e-mail to the company explaining the damage and requesting they contact me for resolution to the issue. Almost immediately they responded and informed me that the freight carrier would be picking up the merchandise within 48 hours.

Had the cello arrived in usable condition, I would have kept the instrument. However, after seeing it in person, I thought I would be happier with a different, slightly more expensive cello. I called the company and they were most helpful in processing the change and assuring me that they would be working to resolve the issue.

Even though the replacement merchandise has yet to arrive safely, the customer service staff made me feel quite comfortable that the issue was being handled in a timely and courteous manner.

Great review! I agree it's all about customer service. I wish more companies understood that. I'm not saying companies should let the customers walk all over them, but there are right and wrong ways to resolve problems. It's all in the delivery.
