Sears Complaint - Unstisfactory Service
FLAGSTAFF -- As part of our upgrading to more energy efficient appliances, we had a Kenmore dishwasher installed on 4-26-2010. It replaced a Kenmore that was still operating after 15 years but was showing signs of age. Yesterday (6-18-2010) I reported that excessive water was left in the machine and got a service appointment one week out (6-24). I considered this unsatisfactory, but.... Today I discovered that the machine is using the same water over and over to wash and rinse dishes. It simply was not draining at all! An extensive chat session confirmed: that 6-24 is the soonest I can expect service, and that I may NOT contact a supervisor through SEARS directly, nor may I have the dishwasher service by a local company and expect SEARS to reimburse me. So here I am hoping to alert other potential buyers to shortcomings of SEARS.
