Valuair / Jetstar Complaint - Short Flight - Long Delay
I have been a regular flier between Singapore and Jakarta on Valuair, part of Jetstar. Recently their punctuality of flights has deteriorated very much. The flight from Jakarta is short, only 1 hr 15 mins. My wife and small children checked in last night 19/6/10 for the 10 pm flight VF506. Valuair then announced delays, firstly one hour, then a further 6 hours till 4 am and then again another few hours delay till 8.40 am. My family and all the other passengers have now been waiting at Jakarta airport departure lounge for the whole night where there are zero facilities. I have been up the whole night still waiting to receive them. The Airline only provided them with a burger and water. The arrival time at Singapore has not been announced yet. My family and I have also experienced long delays with Valuair in the recent past. I will certainly not chose Valuair again, even though they're bit cheaper. The service is now very lousy and they lied to my family about delays to avoid responsibility to care for them, firstly blaming Valuair Singapore, then Valuair Head Office in Australia. SHAME on Valuair / Jetstar.
